Full Day Rough Shooting

For our rough shoot day at Lake Vyrnwy, we’ll begin with a light breakfast and a keepers briefing.

We’ll then head out to work the varied coverts and hedgerows around the estate for a day of challenging, informal sport set against the stunning backdrop of the lake. Infeld refreshments will be on hand to keep us going throughout the day, followed by a light lunch either taken in the field or back at the hotel at the end of the day.

For the most authentic shooting experience you can find, join our keeper and his trusted dogs for a truly immersive day. You’ll work together through the sheltered coverts and heather-clad slopes that define this magnificent landscape, sharing in their knowledge and passion every step of the way. It’s a hands-on opportunity to experience the skill, tradition, and camaraderie of a traditional rough shoot, making for an exhilarating and unforgettable day at Lake Vyrnwy. 

Available October 2026- January 2027 except for Sundays. Max 4 guns, no shared guns. All guns to have valid licence & insurance
